“ We love The Waterfront Bar and Grill. The vibe is lively, but chill. A local vibe for sure. The bar grub is great! We don't eat breakfast often, but when the craving hits, we head to WF. A small cup of pozole for me and Becky loves to indulge now and again with a chicken fried steak. She absolutely loves WF chicken fried steak. It is always way too much food for her so we always ask for a plate for me and we split it. With scrambled eggs, hash browns and toast, it is plenty for two. It is always delicious! The pozole is fantastic. Even in the small cup it is packed with wonderful chunks of pork. Spicy, but not melt-your-face spicy. Served with tortillas (i always choose corn), cilantro, onions, sour cream and limes. Service is, every time, without fail, outstanding. ”

“ The best thing about Waterfront Bar & Grill is the chicken fingers! It comes with fries and you can get all the different sauces they have. It's the perfect crispy snack to share (or not) while you're having drinks with friends. Come here just for the chicken fingers even if you don't plan to drink - they're simply that good. The tater tots are good and crispy too. Another perk is the free popcorn. It's in the corner, so it's easy to miss. The workers are nice! They always ask me for my name then introduce themselves. Most bartenders don't do that. The vibe is casual, no need to be extremely glammed up to go here. It also feels pretty safe. Occasionally there will be that random man that buys you drinks, but who doesn't love a free drink? ”

“ I stopped in here a couple times during my trip to San Diego for AU 2024 because I gravitate towards dives for some reason when I'm in a new city. Awesome music that was all over the place. Great people watching and random conversation at the small tabletops behind the bar stools. Big girls getting and GIVING some loving. A couple drunk people got thrown out. Popcorn. Decent prices. Bar service is top notch. Tom is the MAN! ”

“ If you're in Little Italy and aren't in the mood for pasta, a $23 Wagyu burger or anything fancy, really, welcome to the Waterfront. It's a bar. It's clean but not flashy. It gets crowded and loud on weekends. You know what you're in for here. Friendly service, stiff drinks, decent beer options and everything is reasonably priced. High marks for the food here too. It's not only one of the more affordable spots in the area but they make a genuinely good burger with fresh crispy fries. Cheers! ”
